Job description:
My client is a market leading Online Travel Company who are currently searching for a Customer Analyst to drive excellence in eCRM across Europe through the market leading use of customer data.

The main areas of responsibility will be:-

• Utilisation of customer data to drive online contact strategy (targeting, timing and creative) performance across all EU countries
• Responsible for Customer Analysis/Data Mining for selected countries across Europe
• Email data process and mail file extraction and delivery to external email delivery company
• Responsible for producing/managing regular email and customer level reporting for all countries across Europe
• Define the strategy for use of customer data to personalise and optimise a customer’s interaction through all 1:1 online channels
• Customer segmentation modelling
• Development and optimisation of customer contact strategy in conjunction with Customer Comms and CRM Managers
• Customer targeting and promotional targeting
• Segmentation/Analysis of site usage and behaviour
• Reporting of customer metrics and behaviour on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Reporting and analysis of customer site usage and interaction
• Customer targeting and promotional targeting.
• Analysis of marketing and campaign effectiveness and forecasting of campaign/promotion ROI.
• Expert/Advocate for site usage tools and analysis across the business
• Maintenance and updating of site usage analysis tools
• Competitor tracking and benchmarking.

You should preferably have:-
• University Degree or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in an analytical role in a sales or marketing team.
• Significant experience and understanding of email performance analysis, clickstream analysis, site usage behaviour or log-file analysis
• Relationship database interrogation experience ideally with SPSS, SQL, SAS programming experience
• Significant data mining experience including modelling and customer segmentation
• Understanding of technology with particular focus on e-commerce, or the ability to learn quickly.
