One of the UK's leading specialist tour operators is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join their sales team. The role involves selling brochure tours as well as designing and costing tailor-made itineraries for independent travel to India. The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the region gained by relevant travel experience along with a passion for selling the destination.
Good sales techniques and an excellent telephone manner are required. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure whilst maintaining a focus on excellent customer service. Applicants need to be computer literate with good writing/keyboard skills. Previous travel industry and CRS (ideally Worldspan) experience is preferred.
This position is based in central London and offers a salary of between £19,719 and £22,348 depending on experience.
