One of the UK's leading specialist tour operators is seeking an experienced tours consultant to join our sales team. The role involves selling brochure tours as well as designing and costing tailor-made itineraries for independent travel to China and the Far East. The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the region gained by relevant travel experience along with a passion for selling the destination.
Good sales techniques and an excellent telephone manner are required. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure whilst maintaining a focus on excellent customer service. Applicants need to be computer literate with good writing/keyboard skills. Previous travel industry and CRS (ideally Worldspan) experience is preferred.
